The BIM Track add-in for Archicad is now available

Developing a BIM Track add-in for Archicad® is one of the most frequently requested new features on our client wish list. In July, we announced a commercial partnership with Abvent Group, distributor of software and services for construction and design professionals such as Archicad, as well as the developers of Artlantis and BIMoffice software.

BIM Track is a natural complement to Archicad; a passionately OpenBIM-based software resolutely focused on collaboration: it is this synergy that motivated the R&D teams of Abvent to develop the BIM Track plugin for Archicad 23 & 24, now available to all Archicad users.

Project managers and invited participants alike now have the means to coordinate their Archicad BIM projects efficiently and directly from the Archicad work window.

The creator / manager of a project simply needs to identify a subject and create their issue / question, including assigning to the person responsible for solving it. This assignee can then retrieve and resolve or comment on the issue, both in BIM Track’s OpenBIM-powered web viewer, as well as Archicad, of course, and also Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Solibri and BIMoffice.

It's just as easy for a guest to access BIM Track, either from the web viewer, or directly from Archicad. To do so in Archicad, they simply follow the project manager’s invitation signup instructions and download the plugin.

In addition to the creation and management of multiple issues and topics, the plugin allows you to publish, also directly, both the latest version of the model and the associated 2D deliverables (plans, sections) to BIM Track’s web viewer.
