We are proud to announce that the E-Project platform now integrates with BIM Track.
The E-Project® platform by Formi-SA is a well-known software in France: it facilitates the financial and technical monitoring of construction markets. It integrates a digital document management solution, a market financial management solution, and various other business solutions. FORMI-SA is a publisher of collaborative solutions accessible in SaaS mode for the construction sector and public markets. The E-Project system facilitates the production, management, and exchange of documents, the smooth flow of information, and ensures the sharing of knowledge with the various stakeholders on construction projects.
BIM Track allows tracking of coordination issues across multiple BIM software programs. Through the BIM Track API, all document updates included in BIM Track issues can be captured in E-Project. The electronic document management platform E-Project GED supports the BIM Track IFC viewer accessible directly from an E-Project document. Dominique Caradant, Director of Formi-SA explains: "With this integration, our users can publish an E-Project document to a BIM Track issue, giving them real-time access to information specific to the project.”
The real-time connection allows for the following functionalities:
- New versions of documents are sent directly to BIM Track to ensure that the version used is always up to date.
- The ability to manage live BIM Track issues directly in E-Project.
- From a simple button in E-Project, access the federated model in the IFC viewer of BIM Track. This feature provides an entry point for E-Project users who are not yet using BIM.
