We treat your data like we do our own: with state-of-the art security. Here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions on how we keep your BIM Track data secure.

Q

Where is my BIM Track data hosted?

Your BIM Track data and BIM Track’s infrastructure is hosted by Microsoft Azure cloud services, which are ISO/IEC 27001- and ISO/IEC 27018-certified. Microsoft Azure’s guaranteed uptime is 99.95%.

Q

Is my data secure on the cloud?

Communications and data at rest are encrypted with Microsoft Azure Storage Service Encryption and TDE (Transparent Data Encryption). TDE protects SQL data and backups. Data in transfer, such as 3D models, are encrypted with Transport Layer Security / Secure Sockets Layer (TLS / SSL).

Q

Where does the company BIM Track host its’ own data?

Our whole platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure as well. That’s how much we trust their experts in data security.

Q

Is your security system regularly tested?

Intrusion and security tests are performed annually by an external firm using OWASP Testing and Risk Rating processes.

Q

How often are backups made?

Every minute of the last 30 days is available if a problem occurs. Backup copies of images and attached files are done every 6 hours.

Q

How does BIM Track maintain server performance?

The servers and our program are constantly monitored to ensure the optimal performance. The powerful infrastructure of Azure allows us to augment the number of servers utilized in just a few clicks by our senior team.
