Cintoo Cloud + BIM Track: improved workflow for web-based point cloud QA/QC

May 22, 2020 2 min. read

We’re always looking to develop new integrations so that our users can connect their data across platforms and track issues natively in the software they are already using. We hear requests for the same ease of use and accessibility they get through our add-ins, and we’re keen to deliver!

We are happy to announce our latest integration with Cintoo Cloud, a web-based mesh viewer that allows you to view, comment on, share, distribute and raise issues discovered in your laser scans. The team at Cintoo Cloud has been working hard to develop a cloud-connected workflow between the two platforms, and we are excited about the possibilities for an improved issue resolution workflow.

Cintoo Cloud is the leading platform for managing laser scans in the cloud. It allows users to easily detect issues found when comparing laser scans with the BIM model during QA/QC. BIM Track is a communication tool for adding accountability, transparency, and ease to the BIM coordination process.

The BIM Track + Cintoo Cloud integration allows users to track and share issues raised in laser scans during QA and QC across BIM software platforms

Discover more about how to retrieve Cintoo Cloud issues in Revit, Navisworks, and more via the integration with BIM Track in our upcoming joint webinar on May 28th at 11:00 am EST.

This webinar will cover:

  • How you can make your laser scans web and BIM compatible using Cintoo Cloud’s unique point cloud-to-mesh technology
  • How to use Cintoo Cloud’s Scan & BIM comparison tools to visually detect and document issues between the as-built and the BIM model
  • A walkthrough of BIM Track and Cintoo Cloud interoperability for your QA/QC workflows.
