The SOC 2 certification audit covers five specific service trust principles including security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. Security and privacy are a main concern for the construction industry as the increase in threats to this industry has significantly increased. Newforma Konekt customer data is stored in Microsoft Azure and AWS data centers, which are ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certified. These data centers have extensive layers of protection: access approval at the facility’s perimeter, inside the building, and on the data center floor.
